Here at Omni Instruments we strive day in and day out to bring our customers cutting edge data acquisition solutions in the simplest to use forms possible.  To curb our appetite for customer satisfaction we have endeavoured to develop Omni Flow Terminal.

Omni Flow Terminal is an application developed in the .NET framework to control the OMNI-TUF-MINI Ultrasonic Flow Meter through serial communications.  It features a Wizard Mode for configuration and an Advanced Mode for using the software as a remote terminal.

We have put together a quick Introduction Video to get you acquainted with the Wizard Mode.  Those of you familiar with the OMNI-TUF-200 Series should have no issues tweaking your settings manually in the Advanced Mode, and those of you with a copy of the manual and the will to learn should be in the same boat.

Please keep in mind that this is only the beta release of the software; many more features are surely to come.  Here is a sneak peek of what’s coming in the next couple of releases:

• calculated pipe dimensions in wizard mode (see Introduction Video for more information)
• saved configurations, macros, and scripts
• more configuration options
• remote customer support

We are also open for any and all constructive criticism from our users.  Within the next few updates we will have an user feedback form in the software, but for the time being you can leave your comments here or email them to eklingensmith@omniinstruments.net.

The software can be downloaded here.  You will be prompted for an update when you start the application if there is one available, so please keep checking back.
